Belmont Devices include: Smart home panels (including HyPanel Ultra), video doorbells (ACVP series), intercom monitors (ACM series), cameras, sensors, Zigbee devices, Wi-Fi devices, chimes, access control hardware, locks, relays, and accessories we sell or install.
Belmont Services include: Website, mobile apps, cloud services, event notifications, remote access, video services, subscription plans, installation, configuration, support, and maintenance.
System means all Belmont devices and services installed and operating together at a property.
3. Eligibility and User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Belmont Solutions services.
You are responsible for:
Keeping passwords, PINs, and access codes confidential.
All actions taken by anyone using your System, including guests, employees, tenants, or family members.
Ensuring that additional users have their own credentials.
If we detect misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms, we may suspend or terminate access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to:
Follow all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws.
Respect the privacy and rights of others.
Not misuse cameras, microphones, or recordings.
Not tamper with, reverse-engineer, hack, bypass, overload, or interfere with Belmont devices or services.
Not resell or commercially deploy Belmont services without written permission.
Not make false emergency claims or abuse notification systems.
We may suspend services if:

You violate these Terms
You engage in harmful or fraudulent activity
You fail to pay for services
Network or security risks are detected
5. Connectivity Requirements and Limitations
Your System relies on:
Your Wi-Fi network
Your internet provider
Your mobile network
Electrical power
Supported third-party services (e.g., Zigbee integrations, NVRs, smart home hubs)
Any interruptions, outages, or limitations of these services may impact your Belmont devices. We are not responsible for:
Internet/Wi-Fi interruptions
ISP failures
Power outages
Mobile carrier issues
Third-party software or device failures
Belmont Solutions does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
6. Installation and Maintenance
You are responsible for:
Proper installation (unless installed by Belmont)
Ensuring sensors, cameras, and devices are correctly positioned
Replacing batteries when needed
Keeping firmware updated
Ensuring the System remains connected to Wi-Fi
Testing devices regularly
Improper installation may cause failures, false alarms, or reduced functionality. We are not responsible for issues due to incorrect installation by you or third parties.
7. Cameras, Microphones, and Legal Compliance
Some devices include:
Video cameras
Audio microphones
Motion detection
Image recognition
You are responsible for complying with:
State and federal wiretap laws
Audio recording laws (e.g., 1-party vs 2-party consent)
Privacy and notification requirements
Placement/location rules
Required notices for employees, tenants, visitors, and guests
Belmont Solutions is not responsible for misuse or illegal use of audio/video devices.
You agree to indemnify Belmont Solutions against any claims related to recordings, footage, or improper use.
8. Third-Party Integrations
Belmont devices may integrate with:
Zigbee smart locks
Zigbee lights and sensors
Smart relays
Wi-Fi NVRs
Energy or automation platforms
Other compatible smart devices
We are not responsible for:
Third-party outages
Loss of compatibility
Security issues in third-party systems
Device malfunction due to unsupported integrations
Only devices designated by Belmont as compatible are supported.
9. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments
Some features require an active subscription, such as:
Cloud recording
Remote access
Premium automation
Enhanced alerts
Storage services
Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually.
You agree to:
Provide valid payment information
Keep payment methods up to date
Pay all fees, taxes, and charges
Pay late fees if applicable
We may suspend or terminate subscriptions if payments are late.
Cancellation removes access to subscription features immediately or at the end of the billing cycle.
10. Software & Updates
Belmont devices may include embedded software.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use this software solely with Belmont devices.

Feature upgrades
Disabling updates may result in loss of functionality.
You may not:
Reverse engineer
Modify
Copy
Decompile
Sell
Resell
Create derivative works

12. No Safety Guarantee

Response from emergency services
Error-free or uninterrupted operation
Belmont Solutions is not an insurer.
Your insurance (homeowner, renter, business) remains responsible for covering:
Property damage
Loss
Theft
Injury
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law:
Belmont Solutions is not liable for:
Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
Indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages
Personal injury or property damage due to misuse, poor installation, or third-party failures
Failures caused by your Wi-Fi, ISP, mobile carrier, power supply, or third-party integrations
Maximum liability is limited to the lesser of:
USD $500, or
Amount paid by you for the specific device/service in the previous 12 months.
14. Indemnification by Customer
You agree to indemnify and hold Belmont Solutions harmless from claims arising out of:
Misuse of devices or services
Violation of these Terms
Illegal audio/video recording
Use of unsupported third-party hardware
Misrepresentation or fraudulent activity
15. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Governing law: State of California.
15.1 Mandatory Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you must first contact us at:
We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days.
